Welcome Kite Jammer Gretta Krusie:

Gretta Krusie is a National Team Rider for Naish kiteboarding, a leading brand in the kiteboarding, windsurfing, and SUP industries. Gretta's passions are her driving force in life. She believes in leading a sustainable lifestyle and has actively worked in the environmental field for the Coastal Conservation League for the past four years. An accomplished artist, model, and industry spokesperson Gretta actively works to promote women in kiteboarding, surfing, and SUP.

Gretta earned a BS from Clemson University in Environment and Natural Resources with a concentration in Conservation Biology and minor in Art. Gretta’s appreciation and respect for the environment began at an early age through spending childhood summers at her family farm in Vermont and the

Welcome Kite Jammer Tom Court:

Born in 1988 on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom, Tom Court learned to windsurf at a very early age. In 1999 he was introduced to kiteboarding while visiting Kite Beach, Maui, which turned out to be a pivotal moment in his life and sporting career.

He quickly made his mark on the PKRA kiteboarding world after winning the UK under 18 Championship in his first year of competition. He has since been an enthusiastic kiter and many titles followed. Tom currently pursues kiteboarding through his online video productions and powerful riding style. His goal is to showcase kiteboarding at its best and have fun while doing it.

Welcome Kite Jammer Kristin Boese:

This KPWT and PKRA World Champion of multiple disciplines has brought kitesurfing to the masses with her alluring media presence, two instructional books and a DVD on kitesurfing, and continues to motivate female kiters and athletes around the globe.

Born in Potsdam, East Germany on July 1st, 1977, Kristin Boese grew up behind the iron curtain and played all kinds of sports, even played semiprofessional handball (a very popular team sport in Europe) under strict training for 12 years. After the wall came down, Kristin continued to pursue her passion for sports. In 1998, she started both windsurfing and mountain-biking, but as her love for water sports strengthened, Kristin obtained her windsurf instructor license and started teaching during the summer holidays.

In 2002, she was on her way to Fuerteventura/Spain to work at a kite and windsurf center where she would instantly learn how to kitesurf and compete. Soon after, she won the German Kitesurf Champion title and reached 4th place in the PKRA world ranking in 2003. Kristin claimed her first PKRA Freestyle World Champion title in 2005. Many titles in all different disciplines followed and she continues to kite and rank in competitions worldwide.

Welcome Kite Jammer Chris Burke:

Born on Hayling Island, UK in 1985, Chris Burke was already windsurfing and wake boarding when he discovered kiteboarding at the end of 1999. He quickly fell in love with all the possibilities kiteboarding offered and wanted to see how to take it to new levels. A career in the sport was a natural choice for Chris and was an instructor for six years and is now a coach specializing in intermediate to advanced tuition, spearheading clinics around the world.

Chris has been competing on the BKSA tour since 2006, with a focus on lifestyle and free riding taking him to the most desirable kiting locations in the world. He’s been sponsored by Liquid Force for the past three years and is additionally sponsored by NPX wetsuits. Chris has also secured substantial media coverage in international and UK magazines, videos and broadcast.

He describes his riding style as a powered wake style, riding aggressively and technically on the water, and aims to continue pushing the limits of this versatile sport.
  
  
 
Welcome Kite Jammer  Susi Mai:

Raised by German windsurfing parents, this stunning 23-year-old from Cabarete, Dominican Republic, has been turning heads with her aggressive riding style and contest results on the pro tour. Susi is one of the most dynamic women in the sport, contributing to its progression not only in the water, but through other outlets as well.

She has acted as TV correspondent to sport and travel shows, most recently ExtremeTV. Co-founder of “Mai Tai Camp,” Susi hosts this yearly camp held in Maui for technology professionals. A 3-time winner of the Red Bull Queen of the Air title, she has been featured in Men’s Journal, Outside, Elle Girl Germany, Outside’s Go, and countless kiteboarding magazines. Welcome Kite Jammer Andre Phillip:

Antigua’s Andre Phillip burst onto the scene in 2003 with top finishes on the pro kiteboard tour. Andre is known worldwide as the king of park and at the forefront of the new school of kiteboarding. He feels at home on rails, sliders, and kickers, throwing as much style into his riding as technical ability. Kiteboarder magazine readers have voted him “#1 Rider of the Year” three years running. He is sponsored by Cabrinha, Kaenon, NPX, and kitescoop.com and has been featured in numerous kiting magazines and videos worldwide.

He has won countless titles throughout his career most recently placing 1st in Men’s Overall in the 2009 Triple-S Invitational in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. Andre calls Maui and Antigua his home when he’s not traveling the globe redefining the sport with his innovative style. 
 
  
  
  
Welcome Kite Jammer Tuva Jansen:

Born in Norway in 1981 Tuva has been active in sports all her life with a special interest in watersports. While working in a wake and skate shop in Oslo in 2001, she was first introduced to kiteboarding and has been hooked ever since.

Since her early days kiting in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, Tuva has laid the foundation for her kiteboarding style and racked up a list of accomplishments. She become one of the fastest women on the water in speed kiting and was one of the first women to venture out in the heaving waves of Lakey Peak, Indonesia. Tuva has earned her place among the leading ladies of the kite world now specializes in waveriding and is currently sponsored by Takoon, Dakine, Oxbow.
   
   
   
   
Welcome Kite Jammer Madison Van Heurck:

Madison Van Heurck,  was born and raised in St. Thomas USVI. At 14, he was the youngest competitor on the PKRA tour for nearly 3 years, Madison Van Heurck has grown up with kiting. Born in the US Virgin Islands, he’s traveled a great part of the world, and has seen and taken part in many changes in the sport over the years. Now, 20, and currently studying engineering at Cal Poly, Madison keeps in character with his local US and BVI kite and surf spots: low key, yet packing a punch. Welcome Kite Jammer Jeremy Lund:

Jeremy Lund is proudly sponsored by “North” Kiteboarding” and is part of their team for a second season. Just a few short years ago Jeremy transitioned from black diamond snow boarder in the Rockies, to the “kid to watch” on South Florida beaches. His interest in kiting began on snow covered fields but he soon realized that the Atlantic was the place to be for year round kiteboarding. Soon after he made Florida his home, Jeremy took home the first place trophy at the “Extreme Jupiter to Ft Lauderdale” 50 mile high seas competition setting new records in the process.

A feature article in Kiteboarder Magazine as well as his cool, laid back style has propelled his popularity from Jupiter’s “Kite Beach”, a favorite launch area just north of Palm Beach, Fl., to Wilmington NC. where he competes and instructs during the summer months.
